Account privacy
Registration verifies your email. We store your email, salted password hash, verification status and revocable sessions, not plaintext passwords. Orders with durable checkout email verification, historical paid orders with a complete verified fulfilment chain, and explicit gifts can be linked to your account for licence codes and device management.
Marketing updates are optional and can be unchecked or unsubscribed from at any time. Verification, order and licence emails are separate service messages. Account and licence records remain necessary even when marketing is disabled. Contact support for account deletion or data requests; records subject to retention requirements are handled separately.
Short-lived verification codes and rate-limit identifiers are stored as keyed digests. Temporary security records are cleaned up; password resets do not delete purchase or licence history. See the site privacy policy for hosting, backups, email and payment providers.
